Capturing The Moment- Creating Art

I am a non-representational artist living in Richmond, Virginia. My art is a celebration of the unending source of inspiration found in the world around us.  I find myself endlessly captivated by both beauty in nature as well as beauty created by man and the passage of time.  ​Through my non-representational work, I explore the interplay of lines, shapes, and color using additive and subtractive techniques, crafting compositions that evoke feelings and impressions rather than precise representations. These techniques involve building up layers of materials and then selectively removing or altering them to achieve the desired visual effect.  My final works are not meant to be realistic representations.  Instead, they are abstract interpretations of the beauty and forms we all encounter.​I invite the viewers to engage with my work on a deeper, emotional level, evoking their own interpretations and connections.
